Lake Almanor campground

 

Day 13     June 11     

Tahoe Vista, CA To Chester, CA

Ride Mileage :  160            Weather condition: ideal

Total Mileage :  2788

It was not a very long ride today and not as scenic as past days. Again we rode through burnt forests for miles and you could still see the damage of more recent wildfire around small villages. It was a bit depressing. 

We stopped  by a first campground around the lake Almanor but it was full for the night. Luckily we had  some network and we could locate another campground with available sites.

Network in general  is very sporadic. So far, in most campgrounds  we didn’t get any signal and during the day we got network only when passing through small towns.
