Quite a long ride today, very narrow mountains road and hundreds of switchbacks. We woke up at 5:30am and packed all the gears to be ready by 7am. 

After 7 hours ride, we arrived in Mariposa and started looking for a motel for the night. I was too tired for camping, just looking for a decent restaurant and a good night sleep. 

This place has vacancy but I was concerned by the comfort and service.

We ended up at the Quality Inn which was OK for the night, nothing fancy but the rate (California premium I guess). Talking money, California gas prices are skyrocketing these days and regular 87 is ranging from $6.30 to $6.99.
